without any authentic info, how can u blame someone who are fighting for their own cause/? we also agree that interviewed candidates are unlucky this time.

vijay said...

Yes, kasinath. you are correct. our system and appsc is like this just bcoz of such kind of idiots. They don't what and how to talk and still hope to compete for top coveted posts like Gr-1.

pity for interviewed candidates. but appsc will learn a lesson from this and won't commit such mistakes in future.

6 questions to be deleted are:
1. Tirupati
2. No.of deaths due to natural disasters
3. Tubes used for heamodialysis
4. Disaster prone states no.
5. Squint: Squeeze
6. Nile: Amazon.

APPSC would delete these 6 questions and re-draw the merit list for 144 questions and then go ahead for mains and interviews.

There is no chance left for us,interviewed candidates except to keep our hopes alive and prepare hard for mains.

all the best, friends...

narasimha said...

i also feel that there is no chance left for us interviewed candidates. Already we were made fools by filing the case. Has anyone checked the petition in SC on our behalf? what is written in there? what has been sought? I think the advocates, so called leaders and great thinkers in this blog have fooled us.

Anonymous said...

some of our friends have been cautioning all of us with regard to the case filed by interviewed candidates that there is no base in the case and those who collected money have been fooling us. The same thing was opined by SC and has been reflected in its order. I heard that it didn't even let the advocate speak on behalf of the interviewed candidates.
In such scenario, how can we expect that justice would come in our favour?

Anonymous said...

if ur true, den v shud take back our money from those collected for filingcase for interviewedcandidates. they said lawyer charges are heavy. but their work is heavy. lets fight for this.

in all probabilities , notification wud be cancelled (source : andhrabhoomi) appsc is not in a position to conduct exam again.

i think the reason behind cancelling of 6 qustions by SC is tht its not trusting answers given by appsc. its committee rather than giving correct answers tried to justify the mistakes in HC. thtswhy HC ordered UPSC commiittee. now SC did the right thing in not trusting appsc again.

but its a loss to those candidates who may hav answered those 6 questions correctly.

there won't be any fight or justice after the order of supremecourt. if someone says so, he is playing with us. lets not give money for anyone who tells that he'll fight for our cause.enough is enough, lets get rid of this and prepare for exams.

vardhan said...

During the course of arguments held yesterday, appsc advocate has accepted the errors and requested SC that it will abide what Highcourt will say as per the report of UPSC on these 6 questions. He even pleaded the court that justice would be done to those two person who filed the case. (Source: andhrajyothi) But keeping in mind, the interests of all those who have written mains but cudn't qualify, SC has given such judgment.
None has asked to delete the questions except appsc on 16th august.
Now, it's our fate to accept the truth.

Anonymous said...

will appsc publish the markslist this time along with merit list? then only, cutoff is validated.

Anonymous said...

kudos to those who won the case. They hv taught a lesson to PSC. Let's hope that it won't commit such mistakes in future.
I heard that it is first time in India that Mains exam has been cancelled. Is it true, friends?

now, this judgment will be a bible for appsc. and caution it whenever they go for conducting any exam in future.

Anonymous said...

Plz dont believe any cheaters who try to collect money again for fighting the case in SC. arguing against a SC order is not a small thing. better to prepare for re-mains. today i read in some paper tht appsc unofficially saying tht it will cancel the notification in this situation. best option for u guys is go n meet the appsc and scold them up and down.

personally i am fed up of appsc.rather i give ibps exam and get out of this mess as soon as possible. trusting appsc will cost us our future. if state is divided , thr wont be any new notification until 2 years. if division dont occur , thn thr r chances of noti before elections !!!! all the best to evryone.

Anonymous said...

first we shud find those cheaters who already collected money for filing the case in supremecourt. what's the point in filing the case there, when highcourt itself didn't take up the issue? they filled their pockets with our money. i hope they already knew this kind of judgment. then, why conducted meetings with all interviewed candidates.

Anonymous said...

Hi vardhan, what you said is 100 % tru but i dont understand meaning of sentence "some body said "But keeping in mind, the interests of all those who have written mains but cudn't qualify, SC has given such judgment....."

what interests do people who have already written mains are lost? I dont understand.

It is we who missed because of faulty key. Again few of missed candidates may loose chance as 6 questions, which are bieng deleted might have been answered correctly, will not be counted and there is chance that they may loose their oppurtunity now also. This APPSC always creates a mess.

Hope those candidates wont reach SC with a new case that SC rather than cancelling questions should order SC for correct answers and re evaluate list one more time. Then we need to be ready for third mains also and so on.

Lets us prepare well and write mains. All the best

vardhan said...

iam sorry, friend. i just meant prelims written but cudn't qualify candidates only due to the faulty key. it was a typing error.

all the best.

Anonymous said...

What is the fate of a missed candidate, who has chosen correct answers for all or majority of 6 cancelled question, not qualified now also,as 6 question cancellation rather to ordering for revision of key with correct answers.

Is there any chance that they also approach court with a petition that - rather to cancel question, revise the key with correct answers.

My cousin is facing this problem, can any body suggest ideas, so that she may also get the opportunity to write mains!.

Anonymous said...

the judgement serves no one's purpose...in my view not only the interviewed candidates but each and every aspirant's purpose is defeated bcoz we can't expect exam in the near future.....really great loss.

As sn interviewed one,I too think its better to cancel notification instead of playing for 2 yrs with the lives of innocent aspirants like me.

I am telling this with my personal experience after interviews sc cancelled.
now, fresh mains conducting is not possible and we will be looking at appsc with hopesmatladt,it will show us bare hand.

vardhan said...

What r u talking, friends? hv they filed the case against the interviewed ones? Did they ever say a single word against u/ they fought for their own cause. Then wat's so frustrating u?
They didn't even ask for deletion, instead pleaded for revision of key with correct answers. It was appsc which put forward this option whereby the court has given such judgment.
Okavela meeru missed candidates list lo undi unte vaallani pogidevaaru. meeko nyaayam, migathaa vaallako nyaayamaa? how can u fit into the position like Group-1 with such kind of attitude. Pls control ur emotions. Everyone knows that it is painful. but v shud digest dat.

Anonymous said...

someone said earlier that they should have asked for conducting mains for them only. How can you get such ideas my frnd? is it possible to conduct mains for only those 2 persons?
Think wise and talk nice...
It is 606 Vs 1,40,000+/-606. Just see the difference. Who will weigh more? losing at interview stage is painful, but think from otherside. thousands of candidates hv missed the oppportunity due to faulty key and if they get a chance, why r u so impatient??
If you are so hard working, and honest, then give a try next time. U'll definitely succeed. Y r u guys so apprehensive about ur own caliber?
Instead of going to court, u shud hv gone to appsc and slapped on their faces for such mistakes.

Anonymous said...

that's very interesting point that inspite of knowing dat in present situation in state.. mains cant b conducted..these people pleaded for re-mains..
see nw what is the fate..every one is suffering..

Anonymous said...

who said, noone wind the case. hundreds of people like us have won the case. at least we get a chance to write this time. what is your problem? most of us cuold not go to courts, but somehow the judgement came. let us all work hard and prepare for mains.
is ur talent limited to one instance. if not, then try this time with more efforts. let us ask APpsc to conduct the exam soon of the sake of all of us.

suman kasam said...

hey frnd, it is the court which said on 16th that appsc shall not think about second mains. and accordingly, it has given judgment. Then whose fault is this? if you are the loser, would you have asked the court to conduct the exam only for you. how silly u r talking?

Lakmanna said...

first of all, you say there won't be any fresh mains to all.
now you say it is not possible due to present situation.
Don't you think the secretariat or assembly or any other constitutional body is not working presently?

then what is stopping psc to conduct the exams based upon the orders of SC. Can anyone go against SC orders? Think twice and then comment.,

Anonymous said...

Though i dont have exact numbers, iam sure there shall be little change in the new faces in this new mains when we compare the list of candidates who have already written mains earlier. interview candidates must be feeling sad..but blame and slap appsc if u want. why r u guys scolding those guys who fighted the case ?? they fought for their rights and they won.ur case has been represented by appsc and it failed. remember , the judgement is given by Supreme court. it doesnt care abt the situation in state. all it cares abt is justice. just because appsc cant conduct re-mains, shud SC allow injustice by striking down the case ???

these 606 candidates can easily clear the exam again if they work hard. rather than blaming the other candidates , u shud contact appsc for future action.

Anonymous said...

all the aspirants should know one thing first.they were allowed to write mains on the subject to condition to outcome of the case by HONBLE HIHGCOURT OF AP.they all were selected on the wrong key in the prelims.they had to ask the APPSC for right key at the time before conduct mains .k.prasad& naga murali fought for the right key and justice without any prejudice.but some of our so called meritorious aspirants didn,t aware all these things.with out knowledge of the facts on their exam how will they express their angry.WITH APPSC THERE ARE SO MANY FAULTS.
IT DOESN,T HAS OWN RESPONSIBLE QUESTION PAPERSETTERS.
TODAY 10 TH CLASS,INTER EXAMS VALUED SCRIPTS ARE GIVING FOR THE STUDENTS.BUT APPSC DOESN,T DO LIKE THAT.THERE IS NO TRANSPARENCY IN RECRUITMENT PROCESS.
TODAY APSET,APTET EXAM WERE POSTPONED FOR THE STRIKE.BUT DURING T STRIKE GOVT.DIDN,T LIKE POSTPONE .THAT IT SHOWS US THE INTERVENE OF THE GOVT IS MORE AT APPSC.IT SHOULD AVOID. THEN ONLY ASPIRANTS WILL GET THE JUSTICE.
REMEMBER THE POLYTECH LECTURURE SCAM OF APPSC.SO ASPIRANTS I U WANT GET THE APPSC JOB U SOULD ASK FOR REFORMS IN APPSC .OTHERWISE DONT THINK TO GET APPSC JOB S.IT WILL KEPT FOR SOMEBODY.IF U HAVE THE CHANCE TRY TO THE EENEDU ARTICLE OF 30/01/2013 BY APPSC PERVIUOS FAC CHAIRMAN SURY NARAYANA RAJU.

such great explaination u r gvng.. Tell me is it our(interviewed candidates) fault?? then y r we at loss today??

Anonymous said...

Why didn't our beloved friends - present/future's so called meritorious aspirants- Naga murali Krishna & k Prasad didn't asked for reforms in APPSC along with revised key? This could have been the best platform for reforms kind of things. Did they forgot it? If they were genuine in their intentions, they could have done that. Aren't they?

So called meritorious candidates wrote mains with out any obligation from HC ( i hope i am right here), only interviews were done with a condition on out come of the present case which SC gave verdict. correct me if iam wrong

one straight question to 606 candidates. at the time of interview itself , u know tht results will be subject to judgement of HC. but at tht time nobody is worried bcoz they thought appsc will somehow get the case cleared like last year.

as a fellow aspirant, i feel for u . u hav waited for 6 months after the interview in hope of results. and now this judgement. this situation shud not come to any aspirant.

appsc is the culprit here. how carelessly they dealt with the case. i am happy just bcoz appsc deserve such tight slaps , then only it will take its work seriously. whn they r earning crores of rupees from our application fees , cant they hire better teachers to prepare question papers and keys ?? looks like key is prepared by some poens in the universities !!! such carelessness they deserve this jdugement.

now its upto appsc to conduct fresh mains or cancel the notification altogether . seeing the political situation , looks like they will cancel the noti and go down into history as a worthless institution.

Anonymous said...

interviewed candidates who want to meet appsc chairman can post date of meeting so that all of us come together

It pains me greatly when you say that appsc will go down in history as a worthless institution. But you are absolutely right and hit the nail on its head. It is my pathetic situation and lakhs of people like me who blindly believed appsc to be a harbinger of hope and stability. ON the contrary, it has perpetuated chaos and spinelessness.

In India, a binding decision of the Supreme Court/High Court can be reviewed in Review Petition. The parties aggrieved on any order of the Supreme Court on any apparent error can file a review petition. Taking into consideration the principle of stare decisis, courts generally do not unsettle a decision, without a strong case. This provision regarding review is an exemption to the legal principle of stare decisis.[1]
Article 137 of the Constitution provides that subject to provisions of any law and rule made under Article 145 the Supreme Court of India has the power to review any judgement pronounced (or order made) by it. Under Supreme Court Rules, 1966 such a petition needs to be filed within 30 days from the date of judgement or order. It is also recommended that the petition should be circulated without oral arguments to the same bench of judges that delivered the judgement (or order) sought to be reviewed.[2][3]
Furthermore, even after dismissal of a review petition, the SC may consider a curative petition in order to prevent abuse of its process and to cure gross miscarriage of justice

Anonymous said...

The concept of Curative petition was evolved by the Supreme Court of India in the matter of Rupa Ashok Hurra vs. Ashok Hurra and Anr. (2002) where the question was whether an aggrieved person is entitled to any relief against the final judgement/order of the Supreme Court, after dismissal of a review petition. The Supreme Court in the said case held that in order to prevent abuse of its process and to cure gross miscarriage of justice, it may reconsider its judgements in exercise of its inherent powers. For this purpose the Court has devised what has been termed as a "curative" petition. In the Curative petition, the petitioner is required to aver specifically that the grounds mentioned therein had been taken in the review petition filed earlier and that it was dismissed by circulation. This has to be certified by a senior advocate. The Curative petition is then circulated to the three senior most judges and the judges who delivered the impugned judgement, if available. No time limit is given for filing Curative petition

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA
CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION
CIVIL APPEAL NO.9140 OF 2013
(Arising out of SLP (Civil) No.25157 of 2013)

Andhra Pradesh Public Service .. Appellant(s)
Commission
Versus
K. Prasad & Anr. .. Respondent(s)
WITH CA.No.9141/2013 @ SLP(C) NO. 25209 of 2013
WITH CA.Nos.9142-9143/2013 @SLP(C) NO. 29716-29717 of 2013

O R D E R
Leave granted.

(1) Heard Mr. Shyam Divan learned senior counsel for the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission and learned counsel for original petitioners as well as the counsel for the intervenors.
(2) The original petitioners raised the dispute regarding examination conducted by the appellant Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission for selection for the Grade-I Services in Andhra Pradesh. The examination was to be conducted in two parts, first the preliminary examination which was to be for 150 marks. The preliminary examination was of objective type wherein four choices were given and the candidates were to chose one of them and answer the same in OMR Sheet. Those who qualified in the first examination i.e. the preliminary examination were to be eligible to appear in the main examination.
(3) After considering the reports of a couple of committees the High Court arrived at a decision wherein according to it the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission will have to revise the selection process in accordance with the answer arrived at by the expert committee, and issue proper orders. The High Court directed the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission to re-examine the whole issue and consult U.P.S.C..
(4) Being aggrieved, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission filed this appeal. Even after whatever screening has been done earlier, we find the following six questions and there answers to be problematic. It is the specific case of the original petitioners that the key answers given by APPSC for six questions at Serial Nos.4, 43, 61, 62, 107 and 130 in "D" series are confusing. These questions did not have one clear answer and that being so it will be unfair to the candidates that the preliminary examination should be decided by including these six questions. By our order passed on the last date we asked Mr. Diwan to take instructions as to whether these problematic questions could be deleted.
(5) Having heard learned counsel for the parties, we are of the view that these questions cannot be retained . That being so, the marks secured have to be recounted from the answer books written by all the candidates on the basis of 144 questions after deleting these six questions and their answers. Those who succeed after revaluation will be eligible for the main examination and the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission will hold the main examination de novo thereafter. On the basis of these 144 questions some new candidates may succeed or some candidates may fail. It will be the new list of candidates passing the examination of 144 marks who will take second main examination.
(6) The appeals are allowed accordingly.

latest news is that chairman is going yo file a review petition. so everything is not lost it seems. will it make the difference?

vardhan said...

My friend, think practically. APPSC itself had put forward the option of deleting 6 questions. because they thought that if marks are awarded after the deletion, only a few would qualify and then conducting mains for them won't be a problem.
But SC has turned the card other way. It has ordered to delete these 6 questions and marks shall be removed from those who answered according to the key.
This aspect is indigestible by psc and hence is trying to fool all of us once again.
On what basis, it shall approach the court to review? When the issue was argued, the court itself cautioned PSC not to think of conducting second mains for fresh qualified candidates.
In this scenario, how can the court review its own order?
Even the interviewed candidates has filed SLPs. So the truth is that they can't approach the court with another SLP on the similar issue.
All we need to understand is to press the commission to speed up the process. That is the only solution.

Anonymous said...

Just two persons even though they knew that they wont get qualified even after deleting 6 qs have fought the case.. for wat?? for whom?? are they so noble persons fighting or wasting time for fellow aspirants?? i dont understand ppl saying that they both are fighting for their right? wat right my dear friends.. wen u cant reach the cutoff where did u get that right. ok lets assume thay did so for others. but in this age do ppl really spend huge amount of money jus for the sake of others??? Must be mahatmas to do such a great thing .. to fight for others rights at ur own cost even wen knowing that u gain nothing!!! Must be so selfless to bring justice to fellow aspirants at any Cost!!! Guys u must arrange a grand celebration welcoming the heros rather than passing off comments here.

Anonymous said...

Another important aspect is that the chairman has misled all of us by saying that only 200 or 300 candidates will qualify if new list is drawn. It is quite illogical and baseless.
He might have been under the illusion that after the deletion, marks will be awarded and only a few will qualify. But the order clearly states that the answer scripts of all 1 lak + candidates should be checked and the marks would be deducted if they answered as per the key. Those who opted for other answers would remain same since they were not given any mark for that question.
Now imagine, a person who scored 98 and answered all 6 questions according to appsc key would lose 6 marks and stand at 92. The same will happen to one and all. Then there would be a sea of change.

kasinath said...

Just two persons even though they knew that they wont get qualified even after deleting 6 qs have fought the case.. for wat??
None ever asked or prayed for the deletion of 6 questions. check the website and go through main prayer. how do u know that one won't qualify in the absence of marks list of all?> how are you so sure that cut off 91 is authentic? if so, why appsc has not published the individual marks list as was done in earlier notification.
They are not Mahatmas, everyone knows that. they fought only for their entry. Without knowing such facts, how can you blame someone?
In the event of a big change in the entire merit list, one would definitely hope to qualify. Even you also do the same, if you hadn't qualified.
You should go and slap appsc for bringing such a great idea of deletion. You won't do that. Rather sit at home and type comments like this. i feel pity for you.

I think enough material about numbers is provided in two articles of todays EENADU news paper, one news items and another in editorial page.

It seems with review petition by APPSC, there is a chance that court may change judgement to conducting mains to only those 200-300(as per info in paper). At this level, SC wont out rightly close the case as wanted by APPSC or Interviewed, since it is proven that those 6 questions have either wrong answers or more answers than key or answers!

So probably with this review petition, there may be relief to interviewed candidates and there shall be mains to those new guys.
I think interviewed have right to have review petition too. otherwise their SLP it self couldn't have been accepted, if they weren't party to the case.

Lets wait and see what happens to this probably last and final set of jobs by APPSC?!!!

Anonymous said...

Yes u r right .. thats why its better to cancel ga notificationa nd conduct afresh rather than all these complications..

swamy said...

why are you so sarcastic by saying that 'Guys u must arrange a grand celebration welcoming the heros rather than passing off comments here,? what is bothering you? are you paid by PSC to pass such comments and criticise others?
They are definitely heroes for people like us who couldn't qualify due to the faulty key. We are cowards who didn't even step out for our own cause. At least they fought till the end.

Anonymous said...

think practically kasinath.. phrases like slap appsc , teach lesson to appsc will not do any good in real life..Everyone is at loss if appsc is unable to conduct any xams in near future.. all of us have to show pity on self first before showering on others.. thats the truth.

Anonymous said...

Those ppl who fought fr 6 ques..didnt benefit from this judgement. Interviewd ppl were badly affected. Bt the ppl in between are trying to take undue advantage of the situation..

Anonymous said...

Inspite of such big mess by APPSC in this exam, SC didn't even repriminded APPSC for its functioning and the candidates who claimed injustice happened to them didn't uttered a word about faulty functioning of APPSC and respective repurcussions on we aspirants. using this oppurtunity they could have atleast added reforms in functioning of APPSC too, which could have long term efeect of whole of PSCs in our country.

Anonymous said...

May i know who is paying u Mr Swamy?? jus as u have ur issue everyone have their own here..

Anonymous said...

i dont understand how re-mains to only new candidates will solve the problem . SC itself had said tht dont conduct 2 mains.

now appsc is saying tht only 200-300 ppl will newly qualify . wht abt those who will be thrown out ??its a big mess..read in newspaper tht appsc might go for review petition. wht purpose it will serve ?? it will waste another 6 months.by tht time , whole process cud be completed if its started now.

appsc has even agreed to do justice to only those 2 candidates who filed the case. SC gave a fitting reply.now again going to SC for wasting another 6 months of our time.

why remains to all, if majority(app 95% as per news paper info), shall be there even if list is revised. This is what Appsc shall be trying to explain SC in review petition and even interviewed candidates are also telling.

Thanks for the link .. so as per the news only 3 members will be eligible if the two controversial qs in subject were deleted.and how come this issue became a larger interest? for the sake of 3 appsc has played with the lives of 606!!! is it called justice???

Anonymous said...

seen this link just now. if its true then APPSC or interviewed candidates should definitely approach SC for review of its 7/10 judgement.

Even in the judgement there is
"(6) The appeals are allowed accordingly." So there is chance for further appeals

It seems interviewed candidates need to group themselves, as the available info shows there wont be major change in list of candidates selected for mains both old and the new as per SC judgement. With a review petition of their own they may be saved from loss which they have not at all committed

Anonymous said...

friends, please realize that APPSC is just trying to waste time in name of review, curative justice etc etc, till the state is bifurcated. once state is on verge of complete bifurcation, APPSC cancels the notification.even if it goes to sc in name of review, it has to attend same bench, the bench has already given so harsh, mind blowing judgement keeping in view of everything.so they had given judgement once for all, so that no court case is filed in this issue, thats wise they also did not gave chance to interviewed candidates inspite they impleaappsc to conduct the exam.ded.so they cannot revoke thier own judgement, rather order to cancel the recruitment o stop the mess up.so friends my humble request to all of u is go for mains again.this may atleast give 314 jobs to our unemployed youth, instead of cancelling the whole notification.so friends start forcing

why shoudnt there be a review?? Given the facts that are coming out in papers right now only few are eligible for mains so why should interviewd candidates be made scape goats.. so far we suffered for no fault. this time we should also fight for our so called rights.

Anonymous said...

today appsc is telling only 2 questions are wrong ..not 6

if those 2 questions cancelled only 3 candidates will write new mains..then why cudnt they argue this in SC ?? now these illiterate members in the board r arguing !!

who will believe even if they say only 3 new candidates ?? entire case is abt the transparency issue. let them publish marks of evryone and then see how many new members will be allowed ???

the judgement shows tht SC agreed tht 6 questions are controversial. appsc cudnt prove only 2 r wrong..even if SC agrees for 2 questions , then also same judgement applies. doesnt appsc knw this ??

even if a single new member gets chance again , how will they conduct mains for one person ??? SC order clearly says tht thr cant be 2 mains . how will appsc counter this ?? some ppl r arguing 3 vs 606 !! plz remember tht its not elections to worry abt majority. if injustice is thr even for one person, it shud be dealt with. even those 3 hav right to fight for the jobs. their rights are breached bcoz of appsc . who will give them justice ?

i agree with the argument tht conduct mains for only new members. but SC wont agree with tht..

conducting fresh mains is a prestige issue now. they will simply delay the process for another 3-4 months..then they wll cancel the notification. thts the reality...ultimately , we r the losers. if they conduct exam soon , atleast 314 aspirants will be benefitted.

Friends, kindly you also try to understand one point even the in the interviewed candidates many of them are un employed only. Whats the problem if a review petition is filed in SC to give their version of plea one more time. It seems there is a provision in judgement for that option. Refer last statement of judgement it is given as "(6) The appeals are allowed accordingly."

Kindly understand their plight empathetically.

Again everybody is indulging in mere rhetoric, defending their touch me not and holier than thee positions, rather than addressing the crux of the matter. Firstly,

1) Why new notifications are not being released? And please do not quote the " present political complexities" load of crap. If a thousand policemen and ten companies of central forces can be brought in to guard a uneducated politician, son of a moron's house, then it plain logic that, given the right impetus, every exam can be conducted.I am talking about zonal posts and a working model can also be evolved regarding state level posts.

2) This observation is academic in nature and may not be directly related to the issue at hand. I request any good samartian to clarify the same.

If the recruitment process takes this much long, the man power planning going for a toss,So How the work is getting completed in the respective departments? Will not be the existing staff overburdened with acute shortage? OR Does nobody care if work is completed or not?

Friends,

Let's be clear on a few aspects:

1. Mr.Shyam Diwan, who was a learned counsel for APPSC himself had accepted the fate and put forward the concept of deletion due to the pressure from apPSC.

2. Both tribunal and highcourt have doubted the verasity of the experts and hence hc has recommended for UPSC report.

3. The Respondents have enough authentic material with respect to 6 questions whereas PSC cudn't do so. It didn't even counter/deny the sources of Respondents. In a way, it has accepted that all 6 questions were having wrong answers.

4. The SC judgment cleary says that Mr.Shyam Diwan was directed to express his opinion on the deletion and felt that 6 questions were wrong and hence forth ordered to cancel them and conduct mains afresh.

5.More than one and a half month time was given to appsc. During this period, it could have expressed that so called expert committee has found only 2 errors of these 6 questions. Why didn't they do that?

6. Filing Review petition is only an eye wash. Bcoz going by the above facts, SC would not allow such petition. It will simply can't ammend its order with the prayer from APPSC that it has failed in conveying expert committee's opinion.

Another important aspect is that it is appsc which has approached SC to stop the report from UPSC. Why did it do that? Had it been true that the experts have given only 2 errors out of these 6 questions, it might have quoted the same in their SLP. It didn't do that because they were well aware that these experts and report were not genuine and hence HC has asked for UPSC report. Had it been accepted, then it would be shame on the part of appsc. Now they are trying to act their level best to show the interviewed candidates that they are working hard in their favour.

But nothing is going to happen, Just think wise and act smart. It is only a waste of time and ur resources. Pls contact Mr.Shyam Diwan for further clarification.

Anonymous said...

Yes,kasi you are correct. both our leaders and appsc have suppressed the above facts and kept us in dark.

Anonymous said...

It is only time wasting if believe watever appsc says. we shud not trust its articles and news published in newspapers. Being a constitutional body, how can it behave like this? how can it forget something to put forward before the court? by saying this, it is trying to fool all of us. let's ask it to publish the merit list and take the process further.

Anonymous said...

Let's throw some light on the following key aspects:

1. APPSC had brought a paper with some permutations and combinations on 16th, if any of these 6 questions deleted and awarded marks, then there are 5 probabilities.

2. One prabbality is that if all 6 questions are deleted and awarded marks to all, the cut-off would reach to 95 and 250 candidates would be qualified.

3. But now, it says that if 2 questions are deleted and not awarded any marks, then only 3 will qualify. How can we believe such illogical and baseless calculation. Do you all think only 2 have opted those two correct answers.

Henceforth, Let's be practical.

now again going to court just to waste tax-payer's money..will they argue tht only 2 questions wrong ?? wht they were doing these days ???

they may plead tht current situation in the state is bad , so strike down the case and let us finish the notification !!! its a big mess they created. again waste of time for another 6 months.

kasinath said...

Friends, I don't understand one thing. Is this blog only for the interviewed candidates or for everyone. Then why no one who will benefit out of this judgment is commenting? Definitely one should condemn that merit is compramised due to wrong merit list and we accept that only those who are eligible according the correct merit list should compete for Group-1 category posts.
Then if the list is revised and only the meritorious candidates are given a chance, then why this chaos across the board?
So you don't want the correct merit list, you don't want the correct process, and you don't want the things to happen straight. Just imagine the kind of situation you are in. You are filled up with such corrupt thoughts and blame appsc and others. No matter how much you have prepared, no matter how much money have you spent, the end point is the correctness. Do you all agree? Then, what is bothering you if the court has ordered to do so?

Anonymous said...

Atleast they will understand the steadfast zeal with which aspirants covet jobs by seeing all these state of the art and highly "intellectual" comments. Presently the situation is like a football match without referee. A slanging match without a moderator. As one aspirant pointed out, all the emotions and controversies that went into this episode did not result in a iota of remorse in appsc. It will continue in its nonchalant way, breeding dissent, breaking lives and perpetuating inefficiency.

kasinath said...

hi reddy garu, APPSC has gone to SC with the sole motive to hault the report. Bcoz it thought it shameful if UPSC accepts all the correct answer choices raised by the candidates based on the authentic material evidence. Please check in earlier posts what kind of material appsc has relied upon. instead of facing such situation, it thought that SC might accept the version of interviewed candidates and encouraged them to file 2 SLPs witout any solid background. Hence all SLPs were cancelled altogether. Now it is trying to play a new game with Review petition with 2 questions so that our friends would believe its hard work and nothing more than that.
Just think why it has opted to hire a new lawyer instead of Shyam Diwan? Just check his credentials with some authentic source. He is one the best advocates in SC. Friends, pls try to enquire about this, why appsc is trying to hire a new lawyer and who is paying for that?? Pls don't waste money and time on such things.

Even though, I am looking forward to write the mains exam, I really feel sorry for my fellow friends. But one thing they should accept that only the meritorious candidates according to the correct merit list should compete in such examinations.
Won't they feel bad if their frnd/relative/sibling faces the similar situation of missing out mains with the wrong key. won't they be happy if the list is revised and his frnd/relative/sibling is given a chance even at the verge their writing the exam for the second time?
Then, why should one worry, friends. All are our friends only.

exactly sir, even the interviewed candidates are also feeling the same..what about the interviewed candidates who remain in the new merit list also..dont u feel sad for them that they need to write mains again even when they are not afeected by those 6 quesns.don't they deserve exemption?

naresh said...

eligible candidates ni mains raayoddanadam entha justico, interview candidates ni malli mains raayamanatam kudaa anthe justice.
For eg, if law says murder is a crime, we accept. But if murder is done by a helpless woman at the event of attempted rape, then?? Will you support the murderer or law?
Then, you say we should abide by law. otherwise, there will not be end to this. Instead of wasting time looking at the courts for years together, I feel it is better to write the mains once again even though I was interviewed.
so, friends, let us leave this blog and start the preparation to acheive the goal. all the best.

Anonymous said...

Enough of opinion and now State the facts.

swamy said...

Everyone should feel sorry and accept that the interviewed candidates who are not being affected by the new merit list shall be exempted. But one should abide by law.
That's the reason why I am saying that they have better chances to clear once again if they start preparation soon. Otherwise if APPSC announces the merit list and date of examination, they would be at huge loss rather than us. So, instead of wasting time and money on APPSC, Let us all try to crack the posts. Best of luck guys! Another unofficial news is that appsc is also trying to conduct the exam in November itself. So, my dear friends, this is not to discourage you from fighting for your right. But a small piece of advice from your frnd.

Anonymous said...

this is the fact and you should digest it instead of fooling others to waste the time and money. What is bothering you if they prepare now? why are you trying to waste their precious time? already you guys have tried to lure them with some kind of petitions and now once again trying to do so. this is bad. Let them write the exam once again.

satyam98 said...

u r correct friend, I already wasted my time by looking at this case and our leaders with fond hope.
After viewing what happend, it is better not to waste our time once again with courts and appsc.

Anonymous said...

once again writing the exam is so easy fr u.. Bt for us(interviewed people) .. after spending so much time ,money, energy for 2yrs n writing the same exam which we already got through with lot of effort..its not easy for us.. plz try to understand that appsc wil not be able to conduct the exam again..u try to digest this fact... stop thinking in such selfish manner..

Anonymous said...

what do u expect?? should we stop appsc to file review petition and write the same exam again with u ppl?? how can u think in this manner??...

@Kasinath, i too don't understand whether this blog is for candidates who have missed chance or for those who already written mains and again waiting to write mains in the guise of justice to missed candidates?

Some body was saying that other guys are there in mains written list because of wrong key and subsequent wrong evaluation. Do you really think there is going to be sea of change with new set of guidelines by SC judgement! I am sorry, but you are thoroughly mistaken about your numbers.

No body hear is against missed candidates. What it seems from the above arguments, why every body need to write mains again and again, is there any guarantee that there wont be any appeal in future that after revision of mains qualified list.

Suppose a candidate who is not in new mains list finds that had there been revision of key for those 6 questions instead of deleting would made him/her to new mains list approaches court? what shall we all do?

Anonymous said...

if interviewed candidates have better chance of clearing mains even in new mains, then whats the point in making them writing mains again. Just think of it. Whats the point of letting any one to write mains when already they have written mains.

Anonymous said...

I agree with you friend. Why every body should write mains.

SC gave judgement and the same SC has given option of reviewing judgment too, if there are any missing facts are present.

So interviewed candidates can approach SC, for their point that , if candidates who have written mains including interviewed and non interviewed are there in the new list once again, there is now point in evaluating them once again. Why should any body be tested again and again in the same notification?

may be aggrieved candidates can think of it.

Anonymous said...

i also feel tht interviewed candidates are in difficult position. they worked hard for prev mains and so they r in the merit list.

but since SC is saying thr cant be 2 mains , wht option is thr ??? its clearly proved tht thr r some mistakes in the key(2 or 6).. if appsc argues abt the mistkaes again, sc will refer it to UPSC again. back to square one..

Anonymous said...

Even if the 606 batch go to the court, they were made to understand that their selection is subject to court decision?

Anonymous said...

vary bad judment. I lost 50 lac dowry property bcos of the judment. i may got selected.

kasinath said...

Exactly, That is what I am trying to explain to all. Before the interviews were scheduled, everyone knew that their results will be subject to the outcome of the judgment. then why appsc or the candidates called for the interviews didn't react and approach the court on this issue. Why did they keep all others in dark?
After the judgment has come, in the hope of getting the posts, everyone is turning the cards. Even if review is filed, the court would straight away put forward the above issue. What is the answer?
think guys, don't waste your time and money. Think practically and don't be in illusions.
Illu, vaakili anni ammi case pettaru, inkaa edi ammukovaddani naa vinathi. anthe!

Anonymous said...

@kasinath, what you said is true. veella argument is similar to the stand taken by our parties on Telangana issue. They gave consent before and now have changed their stand. Similarly the interviewed candidates attended the interview by accepting the fact that their results will be subjected to the outcome of the case.
were they really keen on getting the posts, either they should have not attended the interview and gone to the court or filed a case after the interview.
Now with the sole motive of selfishness, they are trying to curb the opportunity to all of us. This is injustice and they are talking about justice.

swamy said...

y did u not go to highcourt den itself? y did u go to court now/? in what way, u hv rights?
The fact is that everyone who went for interview let their fate be decided by appsc and its legal proceedings and thought that the case would be striken off. but now they are shoeing real nature by talking abt rights, justice bla..blaa...blaaa... if u r so intelligent and merit, den y didnt ur at least appsc or tribunal or highcourt abt dis before the interview? shame on u to act like innocents now?

why this fight between 606 vs others ??? both r scapegoats of appsc mistakes.many genuine candidates missed the chance of writing mains bcoz of faulty key. and if key revised , some of the 606 candidates may be out.

looks like appsc is getting ready for another round of slaps by SC .. did it get any new evidence in these past 3 days ??? any new material regarding those 6 questions ?? this review petition is a face-saving and time delaying measure until 3-4 months..after tht anyway they r going to close down appsc.

candidates plz dont loose ur money again in the case. ur case is being represented by appsc. so try to put pressure on appsc rather than hiring ur new lawyer and wasting ur money.

"Kotta list lo majority paatha vallu unte, whats the point in every one writing mains again. "

brother , wht abt the new candidates ?? thr will be only 2 options left

1. conduct mains only for new ppl
2. conduct for all

Appsc has raised this matter in SC on august 8th. Judge had clearly said dont think of conducting 2 mains.that leaves us only 2nd option. so, this matter has already been raised in SC brother. now only way remaining for appsc is to prove those 6 questions are right. do u think appsc has such capability ? at the most , it can get the case delayed by SC by appointing UPSC committee again.

appsc doesnt hav any intention of conducting exam again. thtswhy its delaying the matter and finally cancel the notification.

Anonymous said...

No body is trying to stop new people to write mains. What interviewed candidates it seems are expecting is if new list is prepared and if it contains many who were also in the earlier list of last year, whats the point in conducting mains to all once again in the same notification.

What basically needed is chance to candidates who lost opportunity to write mains, probably they may request SC for a mains for new one only.

Can any body guarantee that there wont be no cases further and the schedule you have proposed are going to be implemented practically?

Anonymous said...

Yes brother, what you said is right. SC might have come to that conclusion because new and old numbers may not be available to them. If proper explanation is given using number of net new candidates which is very less(as per paper info available) probably they may change it to option 1. Whats the problem with that representation?

In both the options, winner is the set of candidates who lost opportunity to write mains.

safeguard the interests of the

meeting is only for Interviewed candidates.

note:some others may try to disturb
our unity.

Anonymous said...

plzzz grow up. other candidates hav a life. wht wud we gain by disturbing ur meet ? nobody here is against the interviewed candidates. u can do anything u wish. why u want to project tht others r trying to destroy ur future ??? if anybody is playing with ur future its appsc , not ur fellow aspirants.

someone saying to meet president , other big ppl!!! did u really give gr-1 interview ???? its a case in Supreme court. not some political decision. so fight accordingly.

nobody is destroying ur unity here.thank god u didnt brand us as "pettubadi darulu" and influenced honourable court. such mindset wont take u anywhr. remember u r fighting a courtcase , not running an agitation . so, behave accordingly.

Anonymous said...

We people have grown up unlike you, that's why even at this situation also we are not commenting against you people like what you have commented on our efforts, eg allegations like, bribing judges, etc.

If we weren't grown up, we too could have commented that you have bought judges, like what you have comments without any common sense. But we didn't because we are aware that cant be done and is next to impossible. We have strong belief in our judiciary and that's why we are planning to present our plight once again to SC.

Even after SLP by us is accepted by SC, you people were claiming that SC didn't accepted, we don't have right to represent in SC and so on.

Then its natural to feel that you may also come to that place and intentionally spoil our efforts of getting justice.

If you feel you are grown up, don't take that "note" seriously, as it is for others of your group who basically are not grown up and which u didn't noticed.

Anonymous said...

You are right brother, hope only interviewed candidates present there and plan for future course of action.
